You are never charged for an empty room
The thing that ruins a small dating site is paying for a ticket, signing in at seven, and finding three people you would never be matched with. So the money comes last.
Say which evenings you are coming. It costs nothing and it is not a ticket.
Not a headcount — whether there are people you could actually be matched with, under your own answers.
If it works, you are asked to pay and shown your expected programme. If it never does, you are told and never charged.
Doors 19:00. Seats close half an hour before the start, so the evening can be planned around who is coming.
Even an uneven evening runs. If there are far more of one group than another it still goes ahead — you may meet fewer people, and the programme is published before you pay, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

It often is not, and pretending otherwise is why speed dating makes people choose badly. So there is a third button: another five minutes. If they tap it too, we put you together again on a future night — before anybody else. The list lives on your profile and only you can see it. How does video speed dating work?
You join at 19:00, meet one person at a time on video for 5 minutes — or ten in the VIP room — then everyone rotates. You tap Like, Pass, or ask for another five minutes. Anyone you both liked gets a 2-minute call at the end.
How much does it cost?
$10 for the Standard room or $15 for VIP, covering the whole evening — every round, not per person. Booking is free, and you are only asked to pay once the evening is shown to work.
Do I need a profile or photographs?
No. No photographs, no real name, no bio to agonise over. You give your age, who you want to meet, what you are here for and roughly where you are — and all of it is deleted when the evening ends.
Is it safe?
Report and block are inside the video frame for the whole call, there is no messaging anywhere on the site, and calls go peer to peer so they are never recorded. Read the safety page.
Who can join?
Anyone 25 or over, in a country we serve. You choose your country and city when you sign in, and the region you are willing to meet people in — which can be international.
What if nobody turns up?
Then you are not charged. And if you did pay and the evening never put you in front of anybody, the ticket carries forward automatically to a future night at no further cost.
