How an evening works
Start to finish, in the order it happens. It takes about two minutes to read and will save you the awkward first ten.
1. Sign in with a wallet
No email, no password. You sign one line with a Solana or Bitcoin wallet and that proves the wallet is yours. We call it Bit-Sign, and it is the same scheme used elsewhere on our sites.
Signing a message never moves funds and never approves a transaction. If a wallet ever asks you to approve a transaction in order to log in anywhere, that is not a login — refuse it.
You are then given a name automatically, like Willow Harbour 4821. It comes from your wallet, so it is the same every time you sign in with that wallet and different if you use another. Nobody types a name here: that removes impersonation, and it removes the chance of putting your real name on a dating site by accident.
2. Say who you want to meet
Your age, how you describe yourself, who you would like to meet, the age range you are interested in, and what you are here for — anywhere from marriage to a hiking partner.
We only ever pair two people who match each other's answers and share at least one reason for being here. Someone here only for friendship is never put in front of someone here only for marriage, even if you both ticked hiking.
3. One ticket
$10 in USDT on Solana, for the whole evening. Not per person and not a subscription — nothing renews, because there is no account left to renew.
4. 5 minutes each
From 19:00 the rounds begin. You get 5 minutes on video with one person, a clock you can both see, and then everybody rotates. You are never paired with the same person twice in one evening.
The video goes straight between the two browsers. It does not pass through our server, which means we could not record it even if we wanted to.
5. Like, Pass — or another five minutes
During each call you tap one of three:
- Like — you would like to meet them.
- Another five minutes — you are not sure, and five minutes was not enough. If they tap it too, we put you together again on a future night, ahead of everyone else. The list is on your profile and only you can see it.
- Pass — no thank you.
Nobody is ever told what you chose unless you both chose the same thing. A pass looks exactly like a round that simply ended.
6. The exchange call, at 20:40
When the rounds finish, everyone you both liked is automatically given a 2-minute call. That is where you swap details — a number, a handle, whatever you choose — out loud, to each other.
It is set up for you rather than asked for, because at twenty to nine most people will not click a button they are nervous about. You can pull out of any of them at any time, with one tap and no reason given. The other person is told the call is off, not that they were rejected.
Have something to write with. There is no message box on this site to fall back on, and nothing you say is stored.
7. At 21:00, it is all deleted
Every table holding a person is emptied and the database file is vacuumed. Your profile, your matches, who you were paired with, what you chose — gone. The only thing that survives is a one-way fingerprint of anyone you blocked, so we can keep them away from you without remembering either of you. You can watch the row counts yourself.
A few things people ask
Can I message someone? No, and that is deliberate. A text channel between strangers is what turns a dating site into a place people get harassed. You talk face to face or not at all. Speedshare is the one public board, for general chat with the whole site.
What if nobody matches me? The pool is whoever is online. Booking ahead helps everyone — say you are coming and other people can see the evening is worth turning up to.
Can I run my own evening? Yes. Set one up, pick your own price, and we take 25%.
What if the times do not suit me? Ask for more sessions — the times with the most requests are the ones that get opened.
