Safety
Some of this is what we built. Some of it is what you should do. And some of it is what we cannot do for you, which you should know before your first evening rather than after it.
In a call, right now
Every call has these, always one tap away:
- Leave — ends the call immediately. You never have to explain, wait, or be polite about it.
- Camera and microphone off — without leaving.
- Block — you will never be paired with them again, on any future evening. This is the one thing that survives the nightly deletion, because it has to.
- Report — which also blocks. You should never have to file a complaint and then keep talking to someone.
Things this site does not have, on purpose
- No messaging. There is no way for anyone to send you anything. This removes unsolicited messages and pictures entirely, rather than trying to filter them.
- No profile photos. Nothing to lift, nothing to reverse-image-search back to your real name.
- No real names. Your name is generated from your wallet, so nobody can be impersonated and nobody can accidentally publish their own name.
- No stored contact details. Details are only ever said out loud on the two-minute call. If you type something that looks like a number, a handle or a link into your bio, it is removed.
- No location. We never ask, so it can never leak.
What we honestly cannot stop
We would rather tell you this plainly than let a safety page imply protection that does not exist.
- Someone can point a phone at their screen. We do not record calls and could not — the video never reaches our server — but no website on earth can stop the person at the other end filming their own screen. Treat a video call as you would a video call with a stranger anywhere else.
- We do not verify anybody. No ID checks, no photo verification. Somebody's age, job and circumstances are whatever they say they are.
- We cannot vouch for anything said on a call. Once you have exchanged details, you are talking somewhere we have nothing to do with, and none of the protections on this page apply there.
Money — read this one
Romance scams follow a script, and it almost always starts on a call that felt genuinely lovely.
- Never send money, crypto or gift cards to somebody you met here. Not a loan, not for a flight, not for a customs fee, not for an emergency. Not once.
- Never take investment advice from a date. "Let me show you a trading platform" is not romance; it is the most common version of this fraud.
- We will never ask you to approve a wallet transaction to log in. Signing in is a signature on a message, never a transaction. The only payment on this site is your own ticket, which you start yourself from the ticket page.
- Anyone who raises money on a call is reportable, and that report reaches us even after everything else is deleted.
If you decide to meet in person
- Somewhere public, the first few times. A café beats a walk.
- Tell somebody where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Get yourself there and back under your own steam. Do not be collected from home, and do not give your address.
- Have a way to leave that does not depend on the other person.
- Trust the feeling. Leaving early costs you an evening; staying to be polite can cost a great deal more.
- Drinks: watch yours being poured, and keep it with you.
Under-18s
This site is for adults and 18 is a hard floor. If someone appears to be a child, end the call and report them with "They appear to be under 18" — that report is acted on above all the others. Do not try to establish their age yourself first.
If something happens
Report it in the call, which blocks them at the same moment. If a crime has been committed, contact your local police — and please do that first, because we cannot help an investigation after the fact. We hold no recordings, no messages and no profile, and by the next morning there is nothing left of the evening but counters.
That trade-off is deliberate, and it is the one part of this design that cuts both ways: the reason nobody can ever leak your evening is the same reason we cannot reconstruct it for you.
